Serious question for anyone here that takes it. Is that not taught or just not the main focus?

MMA fighters are defending differently. Their defense is based on kicks, punches and takedown attempts coming their way. It doesn’t translate well to boxing where there are just punches but they’re coming from every angle and usually with combos follwing. Paul feinted to the body and shot the overhand right. Woodley went to block the body but the right hand was already on it’s way.
