Who said anything about 22 first rounders? We're talking about the production on the field (i.e. college football). That bit about the NFL draft isn't germane to the conversation and is a red herring. Does FSU's number compare favorably to that Miami team? Yes.
I don't feel like looking it up, but off hand I would say that FSU plays per game average is favorable to that Miami team as well. We don't run a HUNH offense or something. We run a pro-style, same as Miami. And the game (in context of elapsed time) is much quicker now with all the rule changes to speed up the game. So, what about landscape again? It was 12 years ago. Lol. You act like we're talking about Roger Staubach at Navy or something and the "golden" era of college football.
