1st... LOL @ recruiting services. I saw on another board where somebody(Auburn fan) said they wish Gus was a better evaluator of kids coming out of HS and not rely on recruiting services. I couldn't believe it, but now I do.

2nd... It ain't just Tim Jernigan, that whole DL group has to play as 1. We do that, we're good to go.

3rd... I'm not even going to talk about stats.

4th...Not sure why you would be afraid of OSU, I think that's who you rather be playing. Better chance at beating OSU.

5th... Yeah, he's taking some sacks that he shouldn't have taken(mostly his fault). What you haven't looked at was, Jameis vs the Blitz or Jameis vs 3rd downs.
recruiting services arent always right its true, but thats the current metric

and frankly we have just as much talent(if not far more on both O and D Lines)

people talk up Goldman and Edwards, but Adams and Lawson are both 5 stars, so is Gabe Wright and Owens and Ford are both 4 stars.

Our issues defending the run stem from LB play rather than them. They often blow up gaps but inadequate play from Holland and Frost usually lead to the gains up the middle. Folks like to say well Auburn gave up passes....to who tho

Dorial Green Beckham, Odell Beckham Jr, Amari Cooper Mike Evans :beli: all of them are going to be in the NFL, this isnt the same SEC it was in 2004. Offensive talent has caught up and in some cases has exceeded defensive talent across our league.

The reason i point out Tim Jernigan is that the true way to blow up Auburns run game is stonewalling the A gaps. If they become open(as they usually do) we have a field day. The only team to successfully hold those gaps down was MISS STATE. Not even LSU who has far better DLine talent than either Auburn OR FSU. Its a schematic thing.

OSU is a well developed team and despite teh Big Ten hate is far more battle tested than people give them credit for. The Big Ten by and large is more talented imo than the Pac 12 or the ACC. I think that will show up in bowl games

Jimbo gives zero fukks about recruiting services.

I'm done after this "and frankly we have just as much talent(if not far more on both O and D Lines)"

you made teams like Maryland quit, the rest of the ACC outside of maybe Clemson is untalented. So untalented that you think 2013 FSU = 2001 Miami :dead:

the most hilarious thing ive ever heard is that every player from FSU is going to the draft :bryan:

this is shaping up just like the 2006 game with OSU and UF. I hate it had to be you

How can you say that when the ACC puts just as many players in the NFL as the SEC? You act like every team in the SEC is fyh. Every year it's about 2, 3, maybe 4 teams in the SEC that's beasting.

I'm sure you took that out of context

Look at our starting D and O, there is a good chance that all will be drafted except maybe 2 players(FB Chad Abram) and Terrance Smith(too early to tell on him)

Nobody shytted on that 2001 UM team for playing in the Big East. You hear that? BIG EAST!!! Now everybody is shytting on the ACC. nikkas like to pick and choose I see.

they said that about OSU in 06 and Oklahoma in 08

the worst part is Oregon in 2010 had a similar dominant run but atleast they played (and blew out) decent teams that year :skip:

the only players that are for sure NFL from FSU are Tim Jernigan, Edwards, Goldman, Winston, Joyner, Smith and MAYBE Benjamin

and thats being generous

You forgot Jalen Ramsey, Rashad Greene, Cam Erving,Jackson, Shaw, O'Leary,Darby just to name a few. Cmon breh FSU will have 18-20 of its starters drafted. All our starters except 2 guys were recruited by SEC schools. I dont think our team has anything in common with Oregon 2010 or OSU 2006 especially at the QB position. Darron Thomas showed his true colors that game as a terrible QB. FSU has a better DL than that Oregon squad......and OSU got exposed big time slow in the trenches and slow at the skill positions.

Lets face it most fans probably have only watched FSU 3 or 4 times. Miami, Clemson and maybe 2 or 3 other games at most because all our games are blowouts. People know we are good but i suspect cats don't realize how great this team is.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this game I am a lil nervous I always respect the opponent plus I'm not sure where our head coaches' head is at since hes rumored to be out the door. Auburns DLine is pretty good, but that back seven doe... Those CBs and that white LB:scusthov: I don't see any reason why our passing game can't eat well.

Those names you just listed tells me, the only thing you know about this FSU team is the names of those players you just listed.

so getting into the NFL means a recruit has to have an SEC offer? does vanderbilt and kentucky offers count towards that too :dead:

listen i know that FSU is talented but this is why yall gonna get crushed and its going to HURT, its amazing how yall really really believe ur team is that talented when its clear as day they are no better than OSU or Baylor (which isnt a knock on them but realistically speaking cmon now)

the hilarious thing is that the auburn back 7 is filled with 4 and 5 stars :bryan:noone is gonna say they are talented but yall going off the same metric, this is why i say yall need to relax before you REALLY get ur feelings hurt come gametime

FSU gets recruiting going a few years and now think they the New England Patriots :wow:

also the insinuation that i havent watched FSU is a tremendous insult when ive been watching + ive been a fan of FSU and Jameis

yall just been spoon fed that nonsense by ESPN that yall are wildly talented

There is only TWO players i would take in a heartbeat from FSU and thats Joyner and Winston, i was watching him at St Thomas Aquinas years ago and hes ridiculous

Auburn's scheme is never going to produce crazy Total D numbers because of the high number of snaps defended. But if yall were watching youd see how erroneous it is to assume the alleged talent disparity
