If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
I'm bored and can't sleep, so I watched the game again on the CineFunk edit.

Random ass thoughts and observations:

* Devonta is certainly a serviceable back, but if he had a lil' more quickness he'd be a great. There's so many long runs he just misses by not getting to the hole quick enough, but there's not much he can do about that at this point.

* KB is really talented. If he ever gets his focus inline with catching the football first, with his ability he will be even better.

* I love how Darby just plays the game. If he breaks up a pass on 1st down he's not preening to the sideline and making all kinda gestures like a few DB's on our team that shall remain nameless (got much love for them too). He just gets it.

* I think we should start running double moves. Alabama really hurt Auburn with them, and I've noticed that after having a lot of film on us that defenses basically have our route tree down. It would be a nice tendency breaker. I'll give you an example: we stopped Clemson inside the 1, we get the ball back. The first play we run it out of our own endzone and barely get it out. The next play is a playaction pass to O'Leary down the left hash that goes for 95 yards. We get backed up against against Wake Forrest and try the same play to O'Leary and WF was all over it. They did get called for pass interference, but still. I'm not talking about a little stop and go like I think we ran against UF. I'm talking about a post-corner-post or a pump to Shaw on that screen we've been running all year to him, then a bomb down the other side. I think we would score off that play at this juncture.

* Speaking of playcalling, I don't like how some of our very creative play calls make one time guest appearances and shyt. Lol. Y'all remember that pass to Lonnie from Ponder that went for a TD against Clemson in Death Valley? That was a sick ass play. I've never seen us run that play again. We had a screen off playaction on the counter against Miami that I haven't seen us run again either.

* Very interested to see what Jimbo and Co. come up with as far as an offense gameplan with 30 days. Honestly, at this point, I've seen every game (with the exception of Duke) like five times and that's being conservative. I think the best gameplan we had all year was actually the Pitt game. Everything worked off of everything else and we attacked them in a systematic way. It's why our WR's were so open. In some other games I noticed stuff like we'd be wide open running 4 wide and killing with that package and then suddenly jump to trips formations and bring everyone into the box. And then after running 4-5 plays outta trips, then we'd try to run it, which just brought everyone into the box. Just very weird shyt, but this team has played so well it hasn't mattered.

* Lastly, on Jameis: I'm hard on dude at times. I have to remind myself periodically that he's 19. Yet, there's greatness in him that he hasn't even realized, and I don't mean that in terms of potential. I mean that in the sense that he doesn't even realize how good he could be, yet. Someone told me awhile back they think he can be the greatest black quarterback of all-time,down the line. After thinking about it, I had to agree. He generally makes 2/3 :wow: throws a game. That first pass TD to KB is an example of such. But, him fulfilling his potential is going to come down to discipline and I mean discipline on the field, primarily. That shyt where he shoved Matias yesterday, or yelling at Sanders last week, pouting, trying to hit a homerun every play, and so on are the exact kind of things that will stop him from being as good as he can be. That's that Willie Beamon shyt that had him in the rain getting tossed up because his OL wouldn't block for him. However, he will be even better next year; if he doesn't let winning the Heisman and stuff go to his head. It's all really up to him. If he listen to his coaches and takes what's there, he will be very, very, very, very good as he matures as a person. I've had my issues with Jimbo in the past, but I'd never deny dude is a great QB coach. He got Ponder in the first round and he has a popcorn arm :wow:.

The only thing I hate about bowl season is the long ass wait. Oh, well. We're coming Auburn. :demonic:

I've been dealing with these delusional Auburn fans for a week now. I was in the store Saturday night, at the cash register. I had on my Noles t-shirt and hat on. Dude behind me say

Dude: "Y'all next on the list."
Me(Without looking back): "This ain't what y'all want."
Dude: "How y'all going to stop the run?"
Me: "We'll make some stops, then what are going to do? How are y'all going to stop us?"
Dude: "Y'all ain't played nobody. USCe beat Clemson, and BC ran all over y'all."
Me: Aight then. (Finished paying for my shyt and left)

A whole month of this shyt is going to suck donkey dikks.

I know some of y'all already know this. We picked up Juco OT Chad Maverty

FSU lands crucial piece in Mavety

When December rolled around, Florida State had already assembled a talented class for 2014. Despite that fact, they still had a few big voids to fill. That list of needs may have been led by their desire for an instant impact offensive tackle. On Monday morning, they checked off another one when they landed the services of Garden City (N.Y.) Nassau C.C. four-star offensive tackle Chad Mavety.

The 6-foot-5, 333-pound offensive tackle chose Florida State over Ohio State.
Florida State hosted Mavety for an official visit over the summer and he returned for an unofficial visit when the Seminoles faced Miami in November. Those two visits were crucial in Florida State locking up their top target in the junior college ranks.
During the official visit, he met with head coach Jimbo Fisher who made it clear to him their need for him to be prepared to play from the start.
“He talked to me about how I could make a big impact on this team and help them immediately,” Mavety said after his official visit. “He believes I can help them win some games. That was his biggest thing, just making sure I knew that I had an immediate opportunity there and that they wanted me and believe I can help them.”
Rick Trickett reinforced that need in his dealings with Mavety.
“He needs an offensive tackle. He holds me in high regards. He loves me as a player and as a person. That is one thing he said,” Mavety said over the summer. "He said that with what my game, all he has to do is tweak a few things and he believes I can be a top five (NFL) draft pick.
“What he did with Menelik Watson in just a few short months is unbelievable,” Mavety added. “I think he could do some incredible things with me.”
His unofficial visit reinforced those comments by Jimbo Fisher and Rick Trickett, while also showing him the rabid fanbase at Florida State on a Saturday during the season.
“Getting to see it on a game day,” Mavety said of the main difference between the two visits. “Seeing all of the fans and all of the love that the fans showed me, just being able to see what it is like to be a Seminole on a game day.”
He also spoke further with Fisher and Trickett, as well as other coaches, during that November visit. It was made clear to him that Florida State wanted his services above all others in the junior college ranks.
“They told me that they need me to come to Florida State,” Mavety said. “(Head) Coach (Jimbo) Fisher said that I am a huge piece towards a national title next year.”
Mavety has three years to play two. He is expected to enroll in the summer of 2014.
247Sports.com ranks Mavety as the No. 4 junior college prospect. He is considered the No. 2 offensive tackle from the junior college ranks.

The Florida State Athletic Ticket Office and Seminole Boosters are experiencing unprecedented demand for tickets to the BCS National Championship game. Florida State and Auburn will each receive 20,000 tickets to the bowl game and Florida State has already received more than 30,000 requests. The volume of requests is likely to continue to be heavy until the Tuesday, December 10 deadline which will require limits at each donor level.

The FSU Ticket Priority Policy guarantees at least two tickets to Tomahawks and above members. Prior to the win over Florida, the demand was modest and we thought we might be able to fill requests from Warriors and perhaps Renegades in our “best-guess” estimates. After the win and FSU’s ascension to No. 1, demand skyrocketed and we lowered our “best-guess” estimates at each donor level. As the demand continues to climb from Tomahawks and above, following this weekend’s events, the limits at each donor level are likely to decrease yet again.

Our current "best-guess" estimate, which is not a guarantee, is:

Membership LevelRequest Location (seat map)
Legacy ($25,000) &
Platinum Chief ($12,000) 12$385 if requested*
Golden Chief ($6,000)8$385 if requested*
Silver Chief ($3,000)6$385 if requested*
Tomahawk ($1,200)4$325 only
Warrior ($600)2**$325 only
Renegade and below0**$325 only
**Chiefs will receive seat priority. Demand for the $385 chair back seats exceeded supply, so priority will be rewarded to Silver, Golden, Platinum and Legacy Chiefs who made requests.

*If there are cancellations, or more tickets become available, we will fill requests in priority point order.
Half these folks are going to sell their extras 6x's over face value

(Not so) Quick Hits & Random

If you follow me on Twitter excuse the tweets...was at this bar @ NC Music Factory and this white dude had a tab set up for anyone rocking FSU gear...got there after leaving Willie's and had already spent like $200 on drank for my damn self....partied until like 4a.m. My body is paying for it today
  • Overall, had a blast all weekend . You could sense an overall cockiness among the fans. The Duke fans to their credit stayed the entire game (most of them). Most of our fans were wishing Coral Gables Technical Institute was there instead just for the fighting in the stands and trash talk
  • First half play calling was shyt mostly but the drive in which KB1 caught the TD on #14 (who they should have been mashing on all game; kid did not belong out there on the field) was kinda sick seeing it develop in person. He ran 5, stutter stepped to his inside, safety and corner bit on it and he just flew past them. Good ball placement by Jameis. One of his better passes of the night
  • Jameis either was scared to run that 1st half or he's saving himself for the BCS title game. 2 plays before the TD mentioned up above, he had the ENTIRE middle of the field open to run thru (and it wasn't the only time that night). Duke didn't put a spy on him until like right after half. But you could easily see 6/7 in box and the LBs were sprinting back about 6-8 yards back along the hashes. I wish we would start running draws to make teams pay for doing that. hence why they started calling QB power runs/dives. Once we started doing that they did the obvious and started having one fo the safeties cheat downIt was there for the taking.
  • Beatty is hot shyt (nothing new). Aguayo has accuracy issues on KO's. Good for one penalty per game
  • The play where Duke almost scored (2nd drive), wasn't anything special that they did. Telvin was sitting on the motion man or QB, Ramsey was out of position and almost paid for it. Telvin lit into him something serious. Kid more than made up for it with the big hit and the strip (that should've counted) later on
  • Joyner's INT was slick as hell. Obviously teams are wary of him blitzing when he's put at the STAR position but they did a lot of looks where he would but he wouldn't on obvious passing down and vice versa. Baited Boone into that one. Also helps when Boone threw it into triple coverage
  • Like I said in the game thread, you can tell they're trying hard to get Devonta 1000 yards; been screaming it since his freshman yr, his balance is all jacked up. So many runs he could break if he could only take the first tackle attempt
  • Mid 2nd qtr, Jameis takes a sack when he has Freeman open in the flats and Kenny streaking all by himself down the left sideline; kid needs to learn to take what you can get; swing pass was there all night tho; good call by Jimbo to call a screen on the play after the sack; around this time, you see them starting to call the game after adjustments were made
  • This offensr can be deadly when they go 5 wide; did it a few times when you knew Duke wanted to blitz but it made them think twice about doing it; loved the option calls
  • The Karlos TD :whew: My entire section was slam dancing when he hit the truck stick. Even made this obnoxious Dookie sit the hell down and shut up
  • HIT OF THE NIGHT: On the KO after the first TD in the 3rd, Northrup lit this youngin up....dude looked like Trevor Berbick trying to get back to the sideline...pretty sure you can youtube it
  • The Ramsey strip :ohlawd:Should have counted
  • Andrews blitzing from the STAR; he NEVER gets touched, EVER....kids a godamn 3 star, we hit the jackpot
  • Almost got on the field after the final gun but security was like :birdman::demonic::ufdup:
  • Last, Cutcliffe is a sore fukkin loser....this is the stand up guy they give COTY to? He's like the grumpy ass old man who yells at you not to walk on his grass. When the score hit 31-0, we were all like yea, he's playing to not get embarrassed, was obvious as Heather Cox line of questions
Here's some pics; most i took, some my peoples in the nosebleed section got
