Where y'all boys at? I went the game against Bethune also, and our defensive line just isn't getting it done. There's no explosion off the ball. Even though I don't like the 3-4 and some exotic looks they're trying to implement, the strength of our defense should be the DT's (along with the secondary) and they're not collapsing the pocket or playing in the backfield. I don't know what's wrong, but the shyt needs to change.
Jamie's wasn't as sharp this game as his previous games. On the redone trip where he threw off the defender and threw that TD to Kelvin, I seriously believe he was trying to get him a TD. Benjamin didn't have one yet and he targeted him 3 times in a row in the redzone.
We're also not getting much pressure on the QB.
Kermit is going to be a baller.

He's fast (surprise, lol). He's one of those players that doesn't really get going until 10-15 yards, though. I don't think his short area quickness is great (which is a reason he didn't excel at safety). He also runs very, very high. He tries to get to the outside on basically every run. I don't think he will ever be a bruiser despite his size or a back you can give the ball to and you know he's going to get positive yardage every play. But, he will be a guy that can break off a long one if the play is blocked up. I didn't get to see much of him pass blocking. I'm not down on him, just think he's a work in progress.
I'm waiting for them get him the ball on some screens.
Keelin Smith plays scary. There were a number of times he filled running lanes and was scared to make the hit or get physical.

Ca ght the replay of the game last night. It looked like everyone on D was playing lethargic as hell to say the least. Can't say much more about the D line that hasn't been said but I like what I seen out of Casher (albeit against mediocre competition). If I had to pick someone to be impressed by someone on D it's gotta be Ramsey. That dudes footwork is waaaaaay more advanced than what you'd expect from a true freshman. I been paying more and more focus on him these past games. His ability to adjust reminds me of Buckley no bullshyt. I'm still trying to understand why they won't give my man Northrup more PT over Levenberry but whatever.
Of course we got idiots in the program talking that Karlos should and will be the feature back by seasons end. I'm like w/e. They're calling JWJ average. fukk outta here. Dude is the soul of that backfield. They must don't remember the VT game and the 4th down play when EERYONE on that line gave up on the play but he kept moving. That's one thing I hate about the fans. Them mf's are so fukkin fickle and shyt. Aight I'm done ranting
But yea he was forcing them throws to KB on that one redzone trip. He's getting away with it now but I don't like how he tends to throw off balance on that back foot. UF DBs will make him pay for that

Jacobbi has played really well. I think him and Jernigan have been our best DT's.
I don't know why Reggie doesn't play more. He's a damn machine whenever he's in.
