The inevitable deluge of purity politics 3 months out.
Never fails. :stopitslime:
Folks wait until election time to bring shyt like this up.
Trump calling people dogs and the GOP is still in lockstep.

Progressives need to grow up.

It’s not about growing up. Ro Khanna’s tweet perfectly sums it up

It’s about changing a failed strategy. You can’t take money from industries you hope to regulate or reform. It’s obvious it doesn’t work.

When you wait after the election you have a situation where you may have majorities and can’t pass a green energy infrastructure plan because your party has to answer to big oil.

The Dems are going to win but it’s how do you want to win??

You sure they going to win?
It is amazing how this plays out everytime and progressives continue to get afflicted by this stuff.

Election day becomes a groundhog day for blunders.

Then comes the fingerpointing after a disappointing loss.

Meanwhile the GOP will drop ads showing they were friends with Obama if it means they it helps them win elections.

How about let's just TRY? Doing the same strategy that just failed is dumb.

I’m surevtheyre going to win. The enthusiasm gap is significant. Dems are running many more competitive candidates, the President’s unpopularity, the issues that concern voters the progressive movement has popular solutions to these and I can go on.

Yes, the GOP has instituted structural barriers that could prevent some flips.

But the issue is... the RNC should never be out raising the DNC when it comes to grassroots donations.

Perez has and is accommodating corporate interests to continue a failed strategy. That doesn’t inspire confidence to the base which has been demanding and pressing for a new strategy.

Yeah cause the last few years they been on some DJ Khaled shyt . . . not! :hhh:

Instead of tearing Hillary and everyone in the country down with her you could have voted and we would have the Supreme Court and the Presidency. You made your bed.

You want to fight climate change

Why take money from fossil fuels?

Also, raising money isn’t an issue for so many grassroots campaigns across the country. DNC itself hasn’t learned it’s lesson.

Also Dems lost 1000 seats while raising a lot of corporate money from 2010-2016

I don't personally agree with it but if you're not getting the money from small donors you need to do something. Perhaps individual Dems are so impoverished they can't support our political machine idk. Maybe it's time for "progressives" to start looking at the big picture before the Supreme Court is a lost cause for generations. Maybe take money out of politics @FAH1223 ??? Right!!! GOOD GOAL!

You can't fight or win if you can't compete.

Fossil fuel industry is also moving into renewables as you well know.

They need to improve their grassroots campaigns and fundraising clearly. You know what they can also do in the meantime? Employ both models

I used to think the same way. But I'm looking more towards governing. Which on a national level is still 2.5 years away at the earliest.

November 7th @FAH1223, hammer the shyt out of them.

Let's just get it over the line first shall we?

Most people may not agree with me but taking money from fossil fuels means nothing compared to what the GOP will do if they retain power. Do what's required to win, as long as it is legal. :manny:

more complaining and whining like the zero sum leech you are.

These "criticisms" aren't even legit.

Sorry guys, We dont live a carbon neutral world yet. People put oil in their cars. Cuomo is likely to win and we prefer him relative to the competition.

The difference between what you support and what the mainstream Dems support is so infinitesimal, while the GOP is on the verge of having literal Nazis and people who just want to lower taxes.

You're ignoring grassroots dems if you think all dems have to be grassroot

Drop that folksy BS.
