They're filming this here in London. Ving Rhames randomly came to watch my little brother's basketball team and he was talking to my parents about the film. He said they're doing some large scale stunts and what not but I wasn't expecting to see Tom Cruise hanging off the side of a plane
How far has he fallen off? Edge of tommorow was dope as was oblivion and MI4. Reacher was solid. May not be the huge draw that he once was but he's been in some solid work these past few years.

He isn't going to lose his knack for picking scripts just because he's 52 so I wasn't talking about his movies I was talking about his drawability. The only time it's ok to be a fan seems to be when MI comes out other than that everything he does gets negative press. Its like there seems to be a collective effort made by someone to see to it he fails.

Yeah there's an argument to be made that he's underrated if you want to factor in all of his stunts.
It's hard not to respect somebody that dedicated to their craft.
I wasn't sure if he did that building scene in MI4, but of course he handled that.
That was probably the best scene in the entire MI series.

I wonder if he'll ever go back to non-action movies.
He had that run early in his career (Rain Man, Born on the 4th, Few Good Men, The Firm) of great performances and surprised most with Magnolia and Collateral randomly in the middle of his career.
I think he would do well in a non-traditional-Cruise role since the current impression of him is mainly an action star, so whenever he breaks that trend, it's always interesting. E.g. his Tropic Thunder scene stealer.
