I'd read online that after the last update, skill based builds were incredibly viable. Has to see it for myself and the results are in. 
Runing the sniper turret and striker drone with a tier 6 skill build. I'm soloing Heroic missions & control points without much stress, and I haven't even completed or incorporated the Hard Wired outfit set. Using a sniper and an SMG as my weapons, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it more than any other build I've tried out thus far.

I hate games like this and Destiny who undo all the good changes they made over in the first one. Just to take 2 steps back in the sequel. Then they try to fix the game when it’s too late.

Don't know about Destiny but this game has been a never ending BETA test, they have no clue what they're doing or how to balance from a gameplay standpoint...
They fix things and then drop a title update 3 months later that completely ruins everything again...
Over the lifetime of this game they have completely wrecked my character 4 times...
The last straw for me was pay walling lvl 40 and re-farming exotics...
I am never buying another one of these games or any game this developer is linked to again...
Hit the nail on the head there, it seems like the developers hate the actual community itself. I’ve never seen a game patch the most mundane farming techniques like they do
I know y'all don't play anymore but i was playing this mode last night. I like it, got to level 41 with my boy before the servers went down for maintenance

Honestly, it's the best it has ever been. I reinstalled it after playing the avengers and needed that shooter looter fix and I'm not disappointed. I've been playing it heavy the last 4 days and easily got 4-5 exotics. This is easily one of the most underrated games right now but thats just my opinion. Community is very active.
there's a weekly challenge that gives you an exotic just for turning in resources..

fire ass game mode if you get the chance to play with GOOD people who understand their strengths and weaknesses
