Cuz he foolishly doesn't think he's a backup and still has enough juice left to start somewhere hence why he dipped on gang once Levis was named fr. Plus, prob smart to just sit bacc, play da cut & wait for the inevitable injuries when he have the most leverage.

Feel like Brady needed more time to get his feet wet. Honestly like Kurt Warner more as an announcer. Aikman was doing NFL Europe games before getting on the "A-team."
Romo was a natural and CBS knew it.
Brady is lunchpail, so he will work himself into a better broadcaster. His issue IMO, is his voice. It doesn't convey enough authority. Romo is the goofy guy that can break shyt down. Aikman is the big dog that gives no fukks and speaks his mind. Brady has to find his lane....not sure what that is. He needs to show his football brain like Romo but be a bit more "mean" like Troy. Tell it like you see it.

Yeah it can't always be this even layer speak when you are a color commentator.
Your value add is your expertise but delivery from you and what you see and what you thought they may have seen or why they did it.
Those of us who watch games often, understand the game at a high level can see a nice majority of things occurring during plays but there's anyways a couple of things we don't always catch.
And as you stated speak it but from you, even if it's being critical.
