He donates more to Dems, probably because he's in the Democrat establishment-controlled northeast, but he donates to Repubs too. He donated to Lindsey Graham. He donated to both Obama and Romney in 2012 (more to Obama) so you know it's all about the business and favors for him. Nobody with a left of center ideology would have Rush Limbaugh in his skybox in the Super Bowl.
