For everyone who hates my team construction hypotheticals, please ignore.

Now, just curious, with Giannis potentially available, does anyone regret going all in on KAT? (I know the circumstances played a big part, let's ignore that and just say w/o KAT we do the same trade plus a few more picks next summer for Giannis instead). I'm a little torn, I know Giannis is a better player but I'm not sure A, HOW much better than KAT he is and B, whether he's a headcase or not.
Breh, the Bucks not moving Giannis, kill that pipe dream

Lowkey I wouldn’t mind the Knicks eventually trading Sims to the Bucks for Beauchamp. I think he is the type of guy who would do well in the Knicks development cycle and the bucks clearly don’t want him. They draft worked him out too, so there was some initial interest.

Meanwhile when Precious and Mitch comes back and Huk in the development cycle Sims might not get minutes here at all, but he could still get limited minutes on the Bucks with Portis and Lopez as the only bother centers on the roster.

It was a way too elaborate way for me to ask do yall think Giannis would be better for this team as currently presented than KAT. And I don't know if he would.

Love this idea. 600k difference in salary though. Not sure it's feasible.

We can make that up, that is what a Westchester player being signed and traded to them?
I would not know. I think the minimum is like 1.2m. It’d probably have to be a creative 2 for 2 trade.

Regardless of possible trade packages, I'm not sure about the general idea of Giannis coming to the Knicks now. He's more ball-dominant, the team has to play around him and he must be disgruntled after these last couple seasons. I'm not a KAT fan in general (not saying he's not good, I'm just never been a fan of his style of play) but it's looking like he's fitting nicely.

Randle and DDV doesn't get you Giannis.

The real question is, do you regret going all in on Bridges?

The day Milwaukee trades Giannis is the day they blow it up.

When Brooklyn traded Bridges, they blew it up.

When you traded for KAT, you were able to trade with a team that's trying to win it all.

The Knicks traded for Bridges partially because they threw in the towel on waiting for something that wasn't coming. Even with the slow start in Milwaukee, Giannis ain't getting moved midseason and the Knicks wouldn't have been able to pull off the deal financially.
No regret at all.

Yes that’s where I’m at with it. Giannis a way better version of Julius. But without the shooting and way more ego. Where Julius was able to play second fiddle to Brunson, it doesn’t look like Giannis would or could for that matter.
