its a shame george never had that period where his boxing skills and his physical abilities were in sync....make no mistake dude knew basic boxing and he was well schooled...young george threw with murderous intentions but he was wild and didnt pace himself well...thats what did him in against Ali and Jimmy Young...shyt almost did him in against Ron Lyle..old george was 10x the boxer and a lot more patient but his fitness was not where it needed to be at times on top of age..esp post holyfield fight which led to the dubious decisions (stewart, schultz, savarese)
