disrespecting them or refusing to respect them won't cause them to respect themselves nor will it cause them to respect you. you think spewing hate to someone who hates themselves already will heal them?

Respect is earned. It should not be assumed that just because you're this or that, you automatically get respect. That's like voting for someone who's ********** and not because of their views or track record.

We're talking about generalizing and slandering a whole group (black women), not taking inventory and responding to individualized behavior.
