this was clean work- easier than i thought. canelo is gonna be a hall of famer based on multiple belts in different weight classes and undisputed. but in a way, he avoided the fighting style that gave him trouble too long- which is slick fighters with activity, respectable power and no fear of him. you can't avoid that for so many years and not struggle when you go up against it. he picked bivol to avoid the charlo and andrade fights cause of that style but the funny thing is we don't know if they would have been able to take his power. bivol was too big, mentally strong, active and unafraid of him. i felt this could have been the worse matchup than all the other ones. those could have been shootouts and maybe canelo's chin holding up better than the others cause we haven't seen them on the biggest stage like that.

i'm mad i didn't bet on this, but there was no way i thought the judges wouldn't give it to canelo if it went 12.

you aren't wrong but I think the major factor in this loss is that Canelo fought a legit Light Heavy and he couldn't out-muscle or hurt him. I wouldn't count him out if he fights Charlo or Boo Boo next.

It was obvious in the Kovalev fight..he was slower than 168. No one paid attention except me and Bivol moves too much..is too busy..has too much energy all fight long. Has good shell defense and definitely controls distance ..he can box. Canelo got too big for his britches.
