On Sunday, my friend was trying to explain to me why he didn't care that Asuka tapped out.

I knew something like this was going to happen. The streak was going to end at some point and I'm not even upset that Charlotte broke it because at least the match was dope. It's the fact that Asuka of all people lost by submission, and then accepted Charlotte as her lord and savior in the promo afterwards. That's the kind of shyt that kills characters. Think about what happened to Bayley after some time on the main roster.

I'm hoping I'm wrong about this, but this might be the start of something much worse.

When you talking about International appeal... How is Ronda vs. Flair bigger than Ronda vs. Asuka?

They killed the streak with 0 build to it, 0 interesting storyline. Just 2 stare offs and a match. Then had her on some subservient shyt like the streak meant 0 to her after she lost. Wasted and missed opportunity.
Asuka needed a manager to talk for her to build her up like she was really unbeatable since she can't do it herself (not her fault) cause total package wise it was awful for something that was supposed to be monumental

It wasn’t like they had Charlotte on some dominant run either she was getting her ass jumped regularly by the riot squad and was losing a lot so she didn’t even have momentum
Both didn’t have any momentum as you had Auska getting layout by Alexa & Mickie in interviews segments and post matches beat downs.
The who is ready for Auska catchphrase is done
Fans are not going to look at Auska the same look at Sasha and Bayley remember how much hype they had when they debut to now they killed there character/gimmicks they don’t even get 1/10 of the pop they got when they debuted

Look at how they tried so hard to get Jinder over for the India market and then pretty much said forget it
So are we really surprised they would do something like this.

Imagine if they kept her streak and did have her face off with Ronda
The amount of international appeal they could have gain with Auska
With how they been trying so hard to break into the Japan market it seem like a waste
Especially to waste it on Charlotte as she doesn’t need anymore accolades
