Shes gotta prove it, without showing that shes trying to prove it.

The shyt she does for you (beyond materialism) when nobodys looking/paying attention is a pretty good indicator.
- ex. Ppl who donate to charity without needing to alert the media, post on facebook, and brag to anybody that will listen.


How she treats you when she assumes you have nothing of material value is another good indicator.


Also, shes got to love (not be obsessed with) herself. Theres a difference between loving somebody (which does include some dependance), and being completely reliant on another individual for "love".

But I agree with some of the other posts..I think a year in the relationship is enough time for most women to develop those strong feelings..If you have no reason to doubt her, I would believe her.

I would be...willing to believe her. After all, what does it say about yourself if you don't think someone could honestly fall in love with you?
But that doesn't mean I'm going to let my guard down and suddenly change the way I deal with women.

i'd take it as it is. there's no point in not believing someone unless they gave you a reason not to. if she hasn't done anything to make you disbelieve her words then you should accept them...
