Hunh....I feel like the only way to do this fairly is to separate movies/OVAs from actual series that are more than like a few episodes.

Favorite Anime Series:

Neon Genesis Evangelion
Cowboy Bebop
Kill La Kill
Mushi Shi
Dragonball (fukk Z after the Frieza saga and motherfukk Super lol)

Honorable mentions include Kino's Journey, Yu Yu Hakusho, Texhnolyze (although it's way too fatalistic and grim to watch again), Bakemonogatari, One Outs, Nodame Cantabile, Baccano, and Mononoke.

I still haven't finished Steins Gate :mjcry:

Favorite Movies/OVAs:

Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal
Ninja Scroll
Ghost in The Shell
And the last two slots could belong to a handful of Ghibli movies tbh

1. Cowboy Bebop
2. One Punch Man
3. Lupin the 3rd (I've been rewatching this shyt and am surprised at how much I love it now)
4. Samurai Champloo
5. Death Note

@Nerdy black guy I'm assuming you mean series and not movies. This list switches up quite significantly if it's including movies.

Samurai X/Rurouni Kenshin (THE anime that got me into anime in the first place)
