Tonight the raptors allowed the Most points ever during a game in their entire history.

The grizzlies scored 155 points against Toronto. Even during worse times, during their worst moments in franchise history : the expansion/stoudamire era, the primo pasta days, the post Vinsanity/mike James/pre- Chris Bosh era, and last year- the raptors never allowed more points than they did tonight. We’ve reached a new low.

We need big/strong/mobile and quick rebounders, inside the paint defenders, rim protecters, perimeter defenders, transition defenders, defenders that can break up and disrupt opposing offensive plays, players who take space and time away from opposing shooters. We need players who can defend well without fouling much. We’re both one of the worst defensive teams and the team with the most fouls taken in the league. We’re sloppy on transition defense, we create too much turnovers, and allow opposing teams easy access to the rim and inside the paint. We don’t give hell to opposing shooters on the perimeter. We don’t give hell to rim attackers and offensive rebounders. We’re too soft on the glass. And we take too much fouls. The raps need to be much more disciplined.

unfortunately I know the work of the referees in this league is not consistent from game to game though.

This is what tanking does it develops bad habits one of them being indifferent to losing thats a hard one to break...which is why tanking isnt always a good idea...

Also they need to pick between dikk and RJ and get the other out,two shytty below average defenders starting at 2/3 isnt gonna work long term...

I haven't been following college ball, but I hope the top prospects are actual gamechangers. We're creating too much losing habits with this tank. It's going to impact Scottie's development if you still feel he's a perennial allstar. I think we drafted well, but it's going to get ugly development wise for having this poor of a product. The key is survival and hope they don't have the negative effects of tanking ingrained into them. Depending on who we draft we will have to decide if we move forward with RJ or Gradey.
