To my brehs with struggle beards, why do you do it

My joint looks pretty nice when the barber runs a 1/1.5 over it and lines it up, looks like a fullish beard

after I let that grow for a week it starts to look heavy on the chin line area and not as much on the cheeks and not a struggle beard like the ones pictured above but not full either

looks worse and more inconsistent the following week not better

then i shave it down and line it up, rinse and repeat

i have no idea how full my beard would or wouldnt look if i just let that b1tch grow for 2-3 months but i'm too scared to try it

It's weird that men care more about other men's beards than women do.

I get ingrown hairs even when I use electric. So I just grow it out. No negative reactions from women. The presence of any beard is masculine enough

I tried to grow a full beard once. Shiit looked like shriveled up pubic hair.
Cut it off and have just kept the goatee ever since. Occasionally I'll go with the 5 o'clock shadow look, but as far as a full beard, it's a no for me dawg


Still have my crispy hairline so I can at least fall back on that

My shyt legitimately looked like Anthony hamiltons one when I first started trying to grow my beard. I was this close to cutting that shyt, but this was near the start of COV; and I aint give a shyt about how I looked. Now I can say after letting it grow, and ignoring what I thought people would say, im officially part of #beardgang . This was after I trimmed it a bit too, it got wild. I thought I was one of them people that would never get a decent beard too
