would have been better with batum, im guessing portland still matches and asks for a sign and trade for williams and picks, which is asking for a lot, imo (if you think you can get iggy with that much)

They can ask for DWill but I don't think we need to trade him. They can have Luke or JJ and like it. Honestly, Batum doesn't really want to be there and if they want to sign a disgruntled player for 10-12 mil a year...good luck.

I'm loving the aggressive moves though....no one really saw Roy coming here.

:yeshrug:

i was pretty sure roy was gonna end up here when he said he would try to, he's beat up, and no one else is going to want him and its a decent fit. most likely he wont do much, but its a move the wolves had to make

My Pops Forever RIP
mini update:

We'll know this week what happens to Shved.

The whole "Batum can't come here legally" talk isn't true. The Brandon Roy signing is gonna be delayed a bit to get everything sorted out.

Tolliver's agent said 5 teams are interested in him while we ask him to wait.

Greg Stiemsma does wanna play for the team. They're just working on numbers, but this one looks legitimately close to happening.

We're looking at Lou Williams, Courtney Lee, O.J. Mayo, Dominic McGuire, and a possible deal for Andre Iguodala in case all else is murky.

Summer League news:

so far, roster is

Derrick Williams
Malcolm Lee
Wes Johnson
Robbie Hummel
Tony Easley
William Buford
Lior Eliyahu
Nemanja Bjelica
Will Conroy
