Draft day....since we don't have a pick, here's some speculation from the ESPN Board. This guy's been hit or miss on his info.

Big Move Coming
I see a big deal by the the Wolves on the horizon. Today's Budinger transaction was a small distraction that will ultimately mean very little if anything to the Wolves organization. it was sort of like the pre-quake rumbles you sometimes feel before the big earthquake hits. I think we'll see one huge deal and one fairly significant secondary acquisition -- probably a free agent signing -- before the summer is over -- something along the following lines:
1. THE BIG DEAL: A trade for Deng, Pau Gasol, Iggy or Kevin Martin. I think a deal for Deng is the most likely and I also think it makes the most sense for the Wolves, although I might still lean towards a deal for Iggy. I fear the Wolves will end up in a deal for Gasol. A deal for any of these guys except Martin would likely required the Wolves to part with Williams. The allure of a deal for Martin is that we could probably get him without giving up Derrick Williams.
2. SECONDARY DEAL: Free agent signing of either Brandon Roy or Shved. Roy is an interesting prospect. The Wolves will have to check out the knee situation thoroughly. If his knees check out, then I suspect that championship contenders like the Spurs, Lakers, and Bulls will be pursuing him and he would probably prefer a championship contender over the Wolves. So I think our chances of ending up with a healthy Roy are fairly remote. We'd clearly have to overpay him.
3. POSSIBLE THIRD MOVE: Sign a shot-blocking FA -- Asik or Steimsma.
4. POSSIBLE FOURTH MOVE: Wes Johnson for Jamaal Crawford
But mark my words, the Wolves will absolutely, positively make a major deal for a big name player. And unfortunately that liikely means parting with Williams. That's another reason I don't the Budinger deal. I'd much rather save that asset to package with others in a major deal for an impact player. Perhaps we could have packaged #18 with next year's Memphis pick and our own 1st rounder the following year along with Barea and Wes Johnson for an impact player without giving up Williams.
