Nemanja Bjelica and Caja Laboral are talking about his buyout for play in the NBA next year. Caja Laboral is looking for a substitute

not really huge news because supposedly Adelman's not too high on him, and he'd most likely get no burn, but this would be kinda cool. For a team that didn't go after any rookies, they could enter the season with 3 (Bjelica, Hummel and Shved)

Rubio update:

(Ricky) Rubio hasn’t been cleared to run; that could come after the next scheduled update in mid-September. But (David) Kahn said he expects Rubio to be on the floor with the team, in some form, when training camp starts in October.

“At practice, he’ll hopefully be able to do some noncontact things,” Kahn said. “It’s very important for him and for our team that he starts the season traveling, practicing, that he’s here.

The goal for Thanksgiving still looks good.

Timberwolves draftee Robbie Hummel is close to an agreement with Spanish club Obradoiro, two sources told HoopsHype.

Hummel, a 6-foot-8 forward out of Purdue, was selected by Minnesota with the 58th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. Mostly known as a three-point shooter, Hummel averaged 16.4 ppg with the Boilermakers last season.

Roster's at 13.

And RIP to Tim Allen. Apparently he killed himself. Real cool up and coming Wolves blogger.

Brehs this trade makes the Lakers good as hell :wow:

I like how we match up with them... But I still think we need more star power brehs.

Rubio-Nash Should be a good match up
Bean-AK47 Id put Ak on bean to bother him with the length
Roy-E-banks/Metta
Love-Pau Good match up
Pek-Howard I Drove to orlando to watch this match up last year and it was a good one

I still say lakers in 6 :to:

I'm not worried about the Lakers. I'm more worried about Denver locking down a playoff spot.

If you read some of the projections some stat geeks have for this team, it's insane though. One guy thinks this team can actually win 51 games based on what we lost compared to what we gained. Some other guy even said 58, but I thought he was buggin'. I'll find the articles.

Damn.... How do you see the west shaping out, given the new moves?

Are u serious. Why are they hell bent on moving him for junk.
D will and Rubio are really the only guys on the roster with high ceilings and potential and they just are dying to trade him. Plus we all know Andersons best years are behind him.

I'm torn. I don't wanna see DWill get moved. I really don't, but he'll never be the player I know he can be while he's here. If he comes into camp with the team, cool, I have no issue with it. He can learn SF behind AK while still getting PF minutes. If he gets moved, I wanna get some value back, but I don't know if I wanna move him for Varejao. Varejao would be a NICE 3rd big in a 3 man rotation though, but I don't wanna come up off DWill to do it.

They're in a tough spot though. Either keep him and pray he becomes something he isn't (and then see his value plummet further) or sell him now even if you know you'll never win the trade.

I'd keep him til deadline and if he's not progressing at SF, throw him in the bushes.

small update:

Wolves still at 13 players minimum.

Hassan Whiteside is working out for the team.

Team still interested in bringing back Anthony Tolliver, but they'd have to clear more cap space to do it.

Mehmet Okur is unlikely since he won't take vet's min

Camp isn't for another month, but Brandon Roy's already there. Shved and AK47 will be there in a couple of weeks. Rubio and Pek are still rehabbing but Pek's ready to go. Stiemsma's foot is OK. Love will be the last player in camp most likely so he can rest up.
