It's better so we won't have to end up having to work so damn hard for a single job due to the intense competition of many of their peers competing for that same position. And what happens to those who don't get the job and can't do anything else. They end up on the streets if there's no other option they can take. The fact is, the more the global population grows, the more competition there will be among them to secure careers in the future. Eventually there will be too many people and not enough positions to fill, just as it is happening enough today with so many college graduates not securing their respective jobs. Back in the mid-20th century, it was much easier to find jobs because they were more readily available since the world population then was at least half of what it was now. I'm not saying we shouldn't have kids at all, but we need to have less of them around for their own futures. Let's say in 2050 and we have 15 billion people around. How many jobs can we provide for all of those people of their interests?

If yall hate on me for this mentality. Fine. But that's what I'm starting to think.

The government is just going end up subsidizing everything for those at or around the poverty line, which is going to swell something serious in the next 30 years. QoL will diminish, but its cool cause youtube, and xvideos will distract everyone.

Either that or there will be a revolution.

Let someone go 3 days without food or water and watch how 'civilized' a person will remain.

I'm going with the former. The status quo wants to maintain that with the least amount of unrest possible.

How bout instead of controlling the population controlling the billionaires who cut jobs so they can still declare "record profits"

Just like the water crisis, just like the food shortage...there's enough everything for everybody. But it's not enough to meet both the extreme satisfactions of the grossly entitled and the basic needs of the have nots. We'll let 3rd world nations drink dirty water as long as our golf courses get that good stuff everyday

You're doing what they want you to do by thinking the problem is people just like you

yup...every person on Earth could live in the state of Texas with a population density similar to that of New York City.
