That's actually the rumor from just a couple weeks back.

That DC is lookin to scrap the Cyborg project and re-purpose it as a titans film. Just a rumor tho.

If there's any truth to it, it's not surprising b/c even the Cyborg actor was surprised when they first announced that shyt way back when. So it always seemed more like a knee-jerk pre-emptive move (to announce the first black superhero movie b4 Marvel did) than something they were ever truly serious about.

Not in the MCU. Blade was owned by another studio and his rights just recently returned to Marvel (due to inactivity) a few short years back. Black Panther is there first in their current cinematic universe to have a solo film.

Cyborg is justice league now.. they even did a teens titan go episode or 2 with that theme...
they been pushing that for a while now...

you got Nick Fury, War Machine 1 (Terrence), War Machine 2 (Don) and Falcon as the first MCU blacks though.. Panther is just the first solo movie...

Wouldn't be shocked if DC took dikk Grayson off the table at some point because he has to be apart of the Bat Universe they're building. Without him this show would have been Mutant X status.

i think cyborg is supposed to be justice league though.

Probably would be a smart move to make a live-action Titans movie featuring the characters from Teen Titans Go. Doesn't have to be a full on kids movie but it would be smart to take advantage of the built in fans of those characters/that team.

Titans go is geared towards kids though.. i mean kids like 4-10 ... a live action Go wont work IMO... They need to do the damn Judas Contract already..

Go's fans are funny.. like me and my kids we all hate go but love it... We hate they changed to the comedic stuff and changed their personalities.. but love it cause sometimes its damn funny.. and Fukken Cyborg be having those jokes for us 40 yr old parents...

He's being branded as JLU. They have spent considerable time/money trying to get ppl to consider him a leaguer and not a titan... so I'd be highly surprised if they did this.

If they pull cyborg last minute to position him on the titans and not the league, that means their movie roster of JL has zero diversity.
No way they are even in serious competetion with the Marvel film franchise which has heavily featured War Machine, Falcon, and Nick Fury (and now brings in Black Panther) if they dont even have a 6th stringer like Cyborg on the squad.

Putting a superhero team together with all white people... Thats just poor marketing in 2016.

And they cant really reposition Vixen cause she is already attached to something.
They could use a black Green Lantern or but thats basically it... cause the black leagures start getting real obscure after that... and they aren't about to give 'Mr Terrific' screen time next to Superman / Batman.

I'm interested to see when the Luke Cage series drops, cause Marvel could position its release to steal all the attention of the Cyborg flick... or if they do something like reveal they are using the black Spiderman at comic-con right before the cyborg film... DC is clutching at straws at that point.
