I knew Cody had something in him during Undashing. It's like everyone forgot about that and started hating him once he joined up with the Elite.

People slept on Stardust, too. Yeah he was a jobber but that character was interesting and his performance as that character was great.

The only place I ever see hate/disinterest for him is TSC. It seems like most everywhere else he is at least well-liked, even if he never had the neck beard cred like the Bucks and Omega have. If there's weak link in the Elite, it's definitely Scurll. Cody is a good wrestler and a great promo. Not a lot of guys right now carry themselves like Rhodes does.

Cody gonna have one of the all time great rassler success stories when it's all over. Came to WWE as a son of a legend that everyone had high expectations for, ended up getting jobbed out and burned out on WWE's sports entertainment, then went to the indies to grind for a few years wrestling in high school gyms in front of a few hundred people where he fell in love with professional wrestling again, ended up in Japan where he met a couple of like-minded wrestlers, honed his business skills and now he's changing the landscape of pro wrestling. If AEW is a success, he's probably going to be one of the most powerful figures in wrestling for the next few decades.

I was definitely interested in the blonde American Nightmare Cody. He might just go down as one of the GOATs.

This post got a lot of daps (for TSC) but nikkas was shytting on Cody just recently and I ain't talking about everyone's favorite heel @Da King either. He went from future Jeff Jarrett to the savior of wrestling within months.

I'm definitely interested in what aspects TSC will start shytting on first.

Can't speak for everyone else, but Cody's alright with me. I agree that it seems like he has a great creative mind. The only thing I was meh about were his actual matches from last year, since most of my exposure to him was from New Japan, and most of his New Japan work last year were in some of Kenny Omega's most overindulgent matches.

I sincerely hope this all works. I'm worried that people are putting the cart before the horse with saying they're going to get Vince and them out of here, and I'm bout sick of the non stop parade of "WCW BYKE", because if we're being honestz the world probably doesn't need another WCW in 2019. But none of that is on him, really.

I’ll definitely admit that I questioned the move from WWE to GFW but it’s was all apart of a much bigger picture for Cody. 4 years ago he was stuck in WWE as Stardust, now he runs the 2nd biggest wrestling promotion in North America, wild.

Law 19: Know who you’re dealing with – do not offend the wrong person. There are many different kinds of people in the world, and you can never assume that everyone will react to your strategies in the same way. Deceive or outmaneuver some people and they will spend the rest of their lives seeking revenge. They are wolves in lambs’ clothing. Choose your victims and opponents carefully, then – never offend or deceive the wrong person.

Law 31: Control the options: get others to play with the cards you deal. The best deceptions are the ones that seem to give the other person a choice: Your victims feel they are in control but are actually your puppets. Give people options that come out in your favor whichever one they choose. Force them to make choices between the lesser of two evils, both of which serve your purpose. Put them on the horns of a dilemma: They are gored wherever they turn.

Two laws that Vince broke:wow:
Where u get these piff laws from?

Super excited to see an easily accessible WWE alternative but I'm not crazy about the above quote. One of WWE's chief issues aside from McMahon being an insufferable c*nt is that their storytelling & characters absolutely suck. Can only speak for myself but the one thing that always compelled me to pick up the remote was the drama that happened before the bell sounded. If they'll be focusing on guys wrestling 25 minute matches for respect and to test their mettle on some Ken vs Ryu shyt, I won't remain interested for long. :ld: Hopefully I'm reading too much into it but that ain't the move that'll keep me tuning in weekly. There is an audience for that, though. Either way, I hope they succeed. :yeshrug:

What they're saying is, just like real sports, wins and losses will help dictate whether or not you're perceived as a threat

And to that all I have to say is :whoo::ahh::ohlawd::wow:

They better sign cm punk because they don’t really have anyone with mainstream name recognition. They got Jericho but :ld:Jericho ain’t ever been known to be a big draw.

No less of one than current MMA superstar Phil "CM Punk" Brooks
