Dave isn't a star like that, don't know why people thought he would be. He basically what his Evolution run told us he would be a 3rd/4th wheel.

The roles he has been doing, like a 2nd/3rd lead for the Protagonist and good as a Head Goon for the Antagonist. Or as a face amongst an all-star cast, are perfect for him. Him as a lead, he lacks the aura and charisma of a leading man for film.
