This was a really good show.
By this time next year Austin Aries needs to be deep in the world title picture. That match with Joe (and his previous match with Bully Ray) has proven that he isn't too small to a legit world title contender and eventual champ. And Samoa Joe needs to be given his props. He may be the starting forward for Team Chunk but he still can work. I am officially starting the movement to get the TV title away from that waste of space Devon and in the hands of Fat Elvis.
The Kid Kash/Hernandez match was random as fukk but both guys worked their asses off and Hernandez didn't look befuddled and super sloppy like he has looked for the past year or so as part of Mexican America. If that is the effort he is going to be putting out going forward then it might be a good time to revisit that aborted singles push from a few years ago.
There is never a good reason for Garrett Bischoff to be on TV as a wrestler and Devon is annoying the living hell out of me the longer he has that TV belt. This tag match was garbage but it has shown that The Cardigan Robbies need to be a full time tag team and this feud with Devon needs to end.
The Anderson/Hardy/RVD match was good and the right guy won because the only guy out of those three I think needs to still be in the worlds title picture is Anderson.
I am loving the care that is being taken with James Storm's character and his ending Crimson's streak was a smart move. The streak was wasted on Crimson and it helped to build Storm up as he focuses on Roode and the world title. Now they need to just throw Crimson back into a tag team (Magnus is available) because the guy still doesn't work as a singles wrestler yet.
I am amazed at how improved Miss Tessmacher is. She used to be a disaster in the ring. I do think she needs to get a new finisher because the "Tess-Shocker" never looks crisp when she does it. Maybe she should borrow a trick from Trish Stratus and start using a bulldog as a finisher.
That Bully Ray/Joseph Park match was pure comedy...dude came to the ring in an UnderArmor track suit. His retarded flurry of punches was hysterical and the multiple costume changes under the ring was inventive. Abyss needs to win an Emmy for his acting.
It was good to see Christian back in TNA...he was always treated better in TNA than in WWE and it was cool that he actually big upped the fans instead of being vague or following some WWE script that avoided saying anything complimentary about the promotion or the people that follow it.
Don't agree with taking the belts off of Daniels and Kazarian so soon or putting them on AJ and Angle but the match was entertaining. Hopefully they get the belts back on Daniels and Kazarian soon though. That springboard backflip AJ did onto Daniels was insane.
They made old man Stink look too strong in that main event as far as I am concerned and dude needs to never do another Scorpion Deathlock again because he does it so lazy that it looks like crap. But the right man won and he did it by cheating in a way that only the best heel champions retain their belts so all is right with the world. I enjoyed the after match beat down though with Sting going crazy on Bobby.
And the crowd was hot. TNA needs to never do another PPV at Universal ever again because that crowd treats every show like it is a free taping of Impact.
