James Storm gonna win the BFG series, but it seems pointless for him to win with Aries being the champion. TNA sets everything up for Roode vs Storm at BFG, then completely went in a different direction :mindblown:
Rooo the leader of Aces and Eights and gonna get that strap back

What nonsensical booking has occurred in TNA since Russo left :wtf:

AJ being in that angle with Daniels/Kaz/Claire Lynch :scusthov:

Taking the belt off Roode made no sense at the time. I like Aries but Roode should have beat him back for the title or not had that stip on the match they had. Then they could have had Roode vs Storm at BFG & Aries would have been the next challenger, setting up your next main event feud for the World title. That would have got Roode & Storm away from each other for a while.

But instead of that easy booking TNA is doing Aces & 8s, where they have to reveal these guys at some point & it's gonna be guys like Luke Gallows & Wes Brisco that have been terrorizing the whole roster :scusthov:

the fact that everybody had Storm winning the series and ending Roode's run at BFG tells you it was too predictable to begin with. Not that it wouldn't have been good TV...but its Sept and we have no idea what they're going to do with the series or the strap at BFG. I'm down for that.

Bobby fukks it up for Storm tonight and sets up a grudge match at BFG?

PPV should be solid.

BFG series and tag title match should be piff. I like how they deviated from the obvious setup of Storm beating Roode, July through October would've been boring if they did that.

Aces and 8s hasnt intrigued me, it's gone on too long doing the same thing and that Aries vs "the big guy" segment was unintentional comedy on Impact.

Looking forward to the 3 BFG series matches, Ion vs. Sonjay, and the tag title match though that match depends on how healthy Kurt is. I read that he got injured at the house show, I believe it was the one on Thursday.

Love how unpredictable the BFG series has been and it's proven to be much more organized than last year was.

Aries wasn't ready for a World title run. He should have been in the BFG series & gotten to where Joe is, then given a chance. He went from dominating the weak ass X-Division to World champion.

TNA's biggest problem is their a "national" company that acts like a local company. Aries is over with them Florida fans but in the rest of the US, most people wouldn't know him as well unless they are huge into indy feds.

I was at Slammiversary, and Aries was one of the most over guys there that night. The same thing happened on their UK shows and everywhere else TNA has gone on the road since BFG last year. Saying he's only over in the Impact Zone is asinine.

I'm not saying he isn't over in other places, I guess I'm looking at it from the perspective of a casual fan. He went from being the X-Division champion while the X-Division was/is complete trash to the World champion based more on crowd reaction than anything. He was a heel that the Impact Zone cheered anyway so they turned him face & next thing you know he's World champion.

You can't judge reactions from their home crowd & elsewhere. TNA is more popular in the UK than WWE is, & they don't leave the Impact Zone enough to judge much of anything :yeshrug:
