Roode gets his rematch at Hard Core Justice and cheats to win the title back., Storm wins the BFG series and faces Roode at BFG winning the title.
Aries stays in the title picture because he is still owed a rematch setting up an Aries/Storm match after BFG.

Yeah I think this is what will happen ... or they will pull a HHH/HBK/Benoit scenario for BFG.

I really didn't think they'd let Aries win tho ... I was so sure that everything was just filler for Storm/Roode II.

Sometimes reading TSC's immediate reaction to things is as fun as watching them live props to AA. I'm with the majority here. This doesn't hurt Roode vs Storm it helps keep everything from looking like filler and it elevated a guy that is seemingly ready to jump that hurdle. Mick Foley kept the Rock busy while waiting for Austin in a similar fashion and it helped all 3 guys in the end, similar play here

I think there was a payoff with Roode being the one to end the Selfish Generation run at BFG...but the fact that we were all sure that was going to happen lets you know why this is good.

Meanwhile, they've added a ton of credibility to the X-Division, X-Belt and "Option C." While the MITB case is more important than the IC title at the moment, the X-Belt takes on the same role in TNA and Destination X is now a "major" PPV for them moving forward.

This is why I was upset, and I think you meant Storm there. Aries is great, I have no problems with him and I like more than Storm.

But now, to me, it doesn't matter if Storm wins at BFG, Roode has already been defeated.

In the long term it is more important to establish that PPV (good point), but I know they want a big buyrate for Bound For Glory, it's literally the only buyrate they talk/care about.

Which that show went down in quality already as they can't do Flair vs Hogan like they planned.
