I actually think Aries will get him tonight and then Hardy wins a rematch at the next ppv. Wouldn't mind a ladder match for the title next month.
Sometimes it's like that with smaller ppvs feeling bigger than the 'big' ones, remember how big MITB 2011(Punk vs. Cena) felt compared to WM27 that year? Same thing with Extreme Rules(Brock vs. Cena) this year being way better than WM28. At least to me. Not that Rock vs . Cena wasn't big but Brock vs. Cena just felt larger and it was like the first time we've seen Cena get destroyed like that. Not to mention I thought Jericho/Punk and Sheamus/Bryan(obviously) were both better than their WM28 matches.Destination X had a bigger feel to the ppv than BFG this year imo
Personally I liked it and thought he was playing the character well. But I knew from the jump it was not the smartest thing for business.
Hardy as a heel worked well. Agree with Hate that "They" kinda walked over it.

Yeah Hardy made that work(for a while) I liked him as heel too but they just keep putting him against Matt Morgan 
His look and demeanor back then was crazy, never seen Hardy like that before. Looked like he was having fun being heel too. Felt like something new after seeing him as a good guy for so long.

I'm not even a Hardy fan but dude was swagged out during his heel run. Dude had an emo film noire look going. 
Hardy was doing good with the menacing promos. I love the way they shot these
