One of my HS football teammates had to withdraw from his college team over undiagnosed heart issues. He was in amazing physical shape.

That was in 2001.

So is this happening more or less than 20 years ago? Stats?

Can you post the stats? Stuff like this has been happening. When I was in middle school a 7th grader collapsed and died during bball practice.
