I tether with PDANet. I think they took it off the app market, but you know there's ways to get around that and find it.
T-Mobile is pushing people to bring their unlocked iPhones to them and get on that $70 Unlimited Everything plan too.

I think the most I hit em for was about 40 gigs. Downloading movies and all that. I travel a lot so I have to have that unlimited.
Buying phones is gonna be different though. I've never paid full retail for one or bought one used. Those are the only realistic options.
Still rocking with a 2 GB cap on T-Mobile. I'm paying $100 for two lines with unlimited talk and text, so i'm not trying to pay any more than that if possible. Everywhere I go has WiFi, so I get nowhere near my cap most months.

My shyt was capped at 5 gigs but they sent me a text the other day saying all customers get unlimited now and I check online and my shyt not capped anymore
Edit: and I got the same exact plan as you(2 line for $100) so you should be good
But when my contract over wit Verizon in March I might hop on tmo if they still have the unl data...even tho I still have unl on Verizon but they killing me wit the bill even wit my employee discount
