Naw. Mortal Kombat was trashish. TMNT was a good movie I'll still watch til tis day. Mortal Kombat came on the other day and I was laughing at how bad it was.

And TMNT 2 is better than MK2. Though Tokar and Razar were very bad.

TMNT series is better than MK
Scorpions revenge shyts all over every tmnt movie after tmnt 1

It was great in its own right. Especially when you consider they had to change it up based on pressure to make it less violent and more kid friendly. No Bebop and Rocksteady is my only complaint though. They did a great job bringing the cartoon to life with the technology available in the early 90s otherwise. I still say it was better than the CGI stuff from 20 years later.

It was a terrible “sequel” but an adequate (not to be confused with “good”) brain dead live-action kids movie.

I mean shyt, I loved it as a kid. To put it in perspective tho, I also loved TMNT 3. I had no concept of a kids movie being “bad”, I similar rewound the cool moments on vcr.

And since it would be over two decades before i’d ever revisit either movie in any capacity, I always had a favorable view of both movies.

Then I watched some retrospects a year or two back and revisited some old clips of my favorite moments (like the opening scene)… Cotdamn that shyt was corny lol

Watching
It's good enough, especially for it to have been made so quickly and with the dumbass restrictions.

Part 2 was an in the moment as a kid type movie, while part 1 is a timeless I can watch and enjoy at any time classic. I have to look at 2 through a very focused lens to appreciate it.

Part 2 is my fave, i remember part 3 bein Mid. I dont remember much from 1 besides the lighting and stuff being super dark and KC jones was in this one right? I need to rewatch these literally going off my memory from the 90s.

Ernie Reyes jr is one of my 90s GOATs and Surf Ninjas is a blassic side note lol
