Kids is the 1995 youth/teen drama set in a poor NYC outer borough. The movie, made by Larry Clark, was controversial for its depiction of underage sex, drug use and rape. The movie, depicted surprisingly racial unity among youth and featured a diverse cast, even if that wasn't the case with adults at the time/setting. Here's a full link on Youtube:
The movie served as the inspiration for Mac Miller's K.I.D.S. mixtape. Several excerpts from the movie are on the mixtape.
The screenplay was written by Harmony Korine, who went on to later write and direct Spring Breakers, among other films.
