If I insulted you then I apologize, but the fact is the fault lies not on millennials but on Hilary Clinton. How you going blame the voters for your inability to appeal to the voters. It's YOUR responsibility to appeal to the people to get their vote. You aren't entitled to the young people vote, you gain it by showing that you GENUINELY give a shyt about the things THEY care about. She didn't do enough of that and that was evident in the youth turnout(which was still good). Making my generation the scapegoat is a copout. Why don't you cowards go bang on white women like that? How do share the same GENDER and SKIN COLOR and not vote for that person???? And yes in hindsight maybe if we did come out in Obama numbers she would've won, but once again If you can't appeal to the voter as someone whose running for political office and you lose then the fault lies with YOU.

like i said this is a totally different discussion

so, let's discuss
the top agendas for millennials in this election was

  • economy
  • college tuition
  • minimum pay raise
  • gun control / background checks
  • climate change
  • police violence esp in blacks & people of color

besides the economy... WHAT IN DA HELL agendas for the 18-29 voter that donald j trump supports ???

IMO - i can't prove this... esp not now or as yet, but i truly think millennials didn't turn out cause they wanted Bernie to win the democratic nomination

and at the end of the day making that stand will only hurt them the most

Maybe you're right...maybe we should have held our nose and voted for her even though we didn't have any belief, or enthusiasm for her. Honestly the whole election and our choices were depressing. I voted for the first time in 08 for Obama and he excited and moved me. Hilary didn't and all Trump did was give me a good laugh smh. I don't know what the future hold for us. When Trump's 4 year term is over I'll be 31. Hopefully the damage won't be unrecoverable.

Very powerful words he said there. What got me was what he said at the beginning: He had a choice between two people whom he didn't believe in, yet he chose a person whom was the least likely to win. I think a lot of people were faced with that dilemma in which they saw a no win situation. So they felt, why waste a vote if you don't believe in either candidate. For what? To vote just because? And that is the main key, to be able to live with yourself with whatever choice that you make.

On most ballots there was more to vote on than the President....Amendments to State Constitutions...other local races which affects you more than the Presidential election...

Very true. I'm thinking that too many people just were disgusted with the main choices, which made them disgruntled and not even attempt to vote, which is sad in a way. At the end of the day, the people whom didn't vote are seeing the results of their choice. But again, if you don't believe in the candidates, then why force yourself to vote?

black people don't need to involve themselves with these protest.

what's done is done.

if white people want to run their country into the ground then let them. just sit back and watch them self-destruct.
Like we won't get effected by this shyt.

Negro what is you talking about :what:

Trump DOES instill confiedence. Hence why the stock market is high as fukk and he WON.

Yall need to stop pretending trump is some idiot. Dude does business with some of the nost cuthroat people in the real estate industry. Obama was literally a activist, not like dude had much if anymore wxperience than trump.

Trump got people thinkong he will take on the washington estavlishment much like obama was gon do.

Doubt he does but thats neither here or there
Maybe it was a biased piece but many of these financial guys, hedge fund Wall Street dudes did not think highly of him. I am just saying do your research.

Trump also did terrible in D.C.
