they don't need an asterisk forever, just for the next 5-10 years until the new format settles in and/or they get broken again. I doubt anybody put an asterisk on Eric dikkerson in 1984, but they probably would've if he would've broke the record in 78(the 1st year with 16 games). Same shyt here. He does this in 2024 then nobody would care
