It's not like Titus is a true face of the company tho. Nobody knoes him like Cena..and that Father of the Year thing, was probably heavily influenced by WWE. Not saying he doesn't deserve it, but it was a perfect opportunity for PR

All that WWE community work is just for show. Nothing more than corporate image control. Whatever they need done at WM, Cena can do it, and if they need a black face to represent they can use Xavier, Mark Henry, etc.

From Vince's perspective what Titus did would've been unacceptable in the kayfabe era. And in general , regardless of the horseplay that goes on backstage, when Vince is on TV he wants to maintain his image.
