"De La Hoya never wanted to give me a rematch. That fight was negotiated seven times. Seven times we discussed a second fight and we could never get it done because his team never wanted it, especially De la Hoya. I think he was afraid of my power and simply said no. Of all the Mexican fighters, Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. has been the greatest champion and there is no doubt that either," Trinidad said
7 muhfukkin times DLH turned down a rematch.... 7 times!!!!
Felix Trinidad: De La Hoya Rejected The Rematch 7 Times
right.... felix asking for a rematch to a fight where he got the W.
Felix gassed himself too much and wanted too much money.... at felix deserving a 50/50 split.
no i was quoting what you said as if felix was asking for a rematch, which would be bizaree cuz he got the W.... Fact is he didnt want to get in the ring agian with oscar who boxed his ears off and priced himself out.Wait hold tf up...so it went from Tito should a gave Oscar a rematch to Tito was begging Oscar for a rematch??...which one is it nikka??
Tito didn't need Oscar he was #2 P4P N was a huge draw HBO was trying to move his ass up to 175 for a mega fight with Roy...while DLH off of nikkas Tito already destroyed N softened up

Felix Trinidad: De La Hoya Rejected The Rematch 7 Times
Tito took short money the first fight why in the Sam hell would he accept the short end of 60-40 a second time after getting the W N goin on a tear rarely seen after
He unified 154 after 3 fights...so the unified Champ at 154 who is a mega draw is posed to accept 40% against a fighter he already has a W over??
50/50 was more then fair...if Tito was on some I want 65-70% then yea I agree he priced himself out but that wasn't the case.
Who has Tito ever ducked?? He fought Hopkins at 160 who had 80 mw defenses in only his 2nd fight at that weight...he fought Winky when nobody ever wanted to fight Winky
But you wanna believe he was scared to fight a DLH who ran for his life the last 4 RDS
there's a reason DLH would always move into a division AFTER Tito was leaving N there's a reason DLH always would want catch weights N shyt in negotiations
The rematch is there if he wants it. King and Arum, always the best fight in boxing, have worked out most of the details for June 17 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas (and the third fight, if necessary, at Mandalay Bay). Arum said, "The economic issues have all been addressed," meaning think parity or at least $20 million each. The big question, he said, was weight. He said De La Hoya did not want to go up to 154, where Trinidad will be stronger. King offered a "catch weight" - say, 150 - where if Trinidad beats Reid, a big "if," he would put the junior middleweight title on the line. But De La Hoya would not risk his WBC welterweight title, which he would win if - a very tiny "if" - he beats Coley and Trinidad vacates. "I will not discuss it with Oscar until after this fight," Arum said. "This fight is not a walk in the park.

im glad you liked the boxing display. One of the reasons Oscar did so well was because Tito had outgrown WW. He was struggling to make 147 even before the DLH fight. There's a reason he jumped to 154 immediately afterwards. And Oscar's bytchass didn't wanna jump up in weight to make the rematch happen.
DLH was shook
Didn't wanna move up to 154, until Tito jumped to 160. That cross dressing fakkit waited until Tito lost to Hopkins to call him out
... Oscar was breaking records in sales and your saying tito deserves 50\50
its widely known and accepted even people in Puerto Rico that oscar boxed his ears off, oscar was told to take the last rounds off cuz the fight was in the bag... i must really question your boxing knowledge if you think tito won that fight... robberies do happen.[DOUBLEPOST=1397331824][/DOUBLEPOST]
im glad you liked the boxing display.
he priced himself outOK breh...believe DLH ran for 4 RDS because he was told so N not because he was gassed like always N not cuz Tito started tagging tf outta him
Rd 9 DLH Corner : "Make sure you winning the round tho..."
Rd 10 DLH Corner : "No more rounds like that Oscar"
Anyways the whole debate was Tito ducked DLH rematch N that has been proved very very wrong....very wrong
They really thought he was gonna bulldoze Hopkins and fight Roy. Hopkins was talking so much shyt pre fight. Lol
