I'm sure the fact that you have been jocking this Xbox exclusive game for the last 6 months played no part in your judgment.

This is a robot DLC for COD. It doesn't mean it's bad but the game play is decent at best.

That's exactly what it is. COD adds new elements too.

It doesn't mean it is bad. Hell, BF4 is nothing but a BF3 DLC to me but I play it non-stop.

Get over it. You cats were overrating this game like it was the second coming of Christ and what you got was COD.

Yeah just ignore everything I said and call it cod with robots. Even without the robots the game is not cod at all.

If that's the case then battlefield is COD with tanks and planes. Halo is COD with futuristic weapons/vehicles. Killzone is COD with slower movement, Destiny is a MMO COD, ect, ect.

Ryse is uncharted with swords :troll:

Titanfall copying off of Killzone 3 which had robots and brink which had parkour movement.

all stanning aside. the parkour scaling of walls and such looks fun, but there is no bullet penetration and no environment destruction. how is that even fathomable for a next gen game with enormous robots sliding all over the place? seriously. how can you not shoot through walls?? I've watched a couple of hours of gameplay... it looks fun for a while but not groundbreaking brehs. just being reality...

I really really cannot wait to see what this online campaign thing is about. I love stories in my games. if they are charging full price for this game i want to see how they incorporate a story into online multiplayer.....

With huge robots all over the place the buildings should all be rubble before the end of the match. But that would be no fun, there would be no need for level design or any of the jetpack/parkour stuff. Pilots would be serverly underpowered and it would just be an open field full of titans.

Destruction sounds good, and is realistic. But it's not always the best for a game. Plenty of games have done destruction but not many of them have been very succesful.

you have a point about the end of the match would just be rubble. taking that into consideration.. there doesn't need to be complete destruction... hell I'll take partial environment destruction. it just takes away from the immersive feel if you are lobbing nades and shooting cannons at a wall and it doesn't even flinch. you are shooting at someone and he jumps behind a wall for quick cover... you know exactly where he is but you can't inflict damage unless you run around that wall.. because there is no bullet penetration...

Yeah, I could see some destruction, but I'd imagine that's a hard line judge for devs. Either way it ends up unrealistic. One rocket can deform a wall realistically, but what happens when another rocket hits it? If the walls not coming down then the immersiveness you just felt from the first rocket is now gone. "Bullet penetration" in itself is unrealistic. Shoot a big military gun at a wall and your shooting a hole through it, your bullets wouldn't just pass through cleanly.

I don't know. Certain things work better for certain games. I don't think bullet penetration/destruction would work very well in titanfal. A titan with a chain gun could take out an entire squad inside a building with penetration.
