WHY THE fukk ARE BOTS IN ONLINE MULTIPLAYER
I'm assuming that since the game will be multiplayer only so they are putting bots in the game to simulate a story/campaign with each match. I'm also assuming the retail version will have more story elements that will tie to each match. As of now we don't know the context of why bots are in the game (btw. there are two sets of bots on each team with their own unique look and features) outside of "they work well with 6v6".
Bots are completely different classes from the Players. As far as I've seen, they're straight up expendable infantry units. The players are are the Pilots that are hopping all around the map and in Titans. Players should have a different look as well.

I've read a lot of people speak on the a.I. of them...since when has anybody ever liked bots in their competitive online multi though outside of practice before playing real players? Its a fair question. Depending on their a.I and how much they impede multi score/kills/points is what will make or break if they are really wanted and welcomed. I'm sure everybody in here would prefer at least a option to not have them at all regardless I'm sure..no?
We'll see though. It looks fun...but maybe it could be more fun without bots lol. Never played a fps where bots made multi better ever ..maybe this will be the first lol
That's the biggest reason I'm interested in this game. A lot of the things we think a FPS should be are being thrown out the window. It could be something special and is at least a change of pace for people like myself who had grown bored with the genre.

Seen some beta vids yesterday.. 
The reason they stress that NDA is because they know the game is great and if anyone plays it and trolls it they can shut it down legally. But overall people are complaining about bots and the number of players and they don't care cause they know you are going to play anyway.
The gameplay is nice and the seamless movement from wall walking to mech mechanics is awesome. The game speed and movement reminds me of Unreal Tournament. The graphics aren't that good which is not surprising. The game does have a COD look to it.
Online gameplay is fun as hell though constant non stop Action. This game is a system seller seriously. Having fun with it.
How long does the Titanfall alpha last till?
not a FPS, but they have AI "creeps" in games like Dota. I guess this game could be something like that, where the players try to help the AI push towards whatever goal
