Completely different situation, im almost 100 percent positive that most people calling it trash never even played the 1st one.

Titanfall is a lot better than people tend to give it credit for, especially on this board.
idk about them but I have the first one. It was alright to me
. I just disliked the lack of a campaign and the huge emphasis on a bunch of enemy fodder that look just like regular enemies on the map.
Those random enemies served a great purpose though, and killing them revealed your position. I played the game a long time after its release, so I got all the DLC for free. I had a blast with it and still play it from time to time. I single player campaign would have definitely helped it, but since I only paid $10 - $20 for it, I didn't have any buyers remorse for the lack of content and was able to fully enjoy the things they did right with the game.idk about them but I have the first one. It was alright to me
I know they served a purpose but the actual "feel of shooting them and enemies was "meh" imo. I just preferred the feel of shooting enemies in Halo or Battlefield over TF.
Its the same thing, just with the added option of shooting npc's. Personally I wish they added even more of them to make the whole thing feel much more like a large scale battle. But that's just me.
I'd rather them just up the player count instead of using those fodder. It made the game feel like a whack a mole shooter. The gameplay felt like a flash in a pan. I prefer games with higher TTK like Uncharted, Gears, Halo, etc. BF is somewhere in between since it's not really low but there's lots of other things going on that makes it null.

AW was already a over a year into production when Titanfall was announced. And the only similarity with Titanfall and BO3 is wall-running.

I'm excited for this game. Even with the lack of content, I really enjoyed Titanfall.
They do need to remove AI enemies in MP though.

Never played the first game but will definitely get this. MW/MW2 were my favorite CoDs so these guys know what they're doing. I'm sure this will be better than whatever CoD game is coming out this year (Infinite War?)
