I think the franchise is dead brehs.
Titanfall 2 was a big failure at Oct 2016 NPD USA Retail Software, selling a mere 182K, or -79% from Titanfall 1's March 2014 debut (865K).
That is truly awful. Reports of it selling way less everywhere in all regions.

I won't be shocked if Respawn gets dissolved or merged into DICE after their Star Wars game drops.
The shyt got outsold by a broken Skyrim remaster.
Once you get the movement and rhythm down you become untouchable damn near.
yeah man I'm having a ball with this game. ain't sliding around like that but I definitely got my bearings in terms of the wall running and grappling (when I decide to equip it). It was a bit disorienting in the beginning but it all flows nicely now.
btw for the brehs in the X1 Coli network, happy hour is 7 pm est so make sure you play around then to get your 5 merits

But Respawn is independent ea just distributes titanfall.
Though publishers like EA like to play dirty when they want to buy one out.
You ever how Bethesda gets down? contracting teams out then they keep pushing unrealistic goals and keeping money from a studio until they're so broke they lay down and accept a buy out.

I got this for $40 on Origin recently and I am really enjoying it so far. The story and multiplayer are great.
Been so consumed with watch dogs 2 I haven't been on in a bit.
Watch dogs 2 is my favorite open world game this Gen(haven't played witcher 3 or mgs v yet)and is so fukking good.

First let’s look at the big picture and make a crucial point about our DLC vision crystal clear: All maps, modes, weapons —anything that has effect on gameplay— will be free for all players that bought Titanfall 2. We believe that in order to maintain a healthy community we shouldn’t be segmenting players behind paywalls for these things.
In addition to the free stuff, we will be opening a store in game with the launch of DLC #1 that will allow you to purchase new skins, camo and Prime Titans if you want for a modest price. We will have no in-game currency exchange. No locked loot boxes, crafting shards or pay-to-win weaponry. No RNG. If you see something you like, you buy it and that’s it. These in no way effect stats and are purely cosmetic. We will have two Prime Titans available at launch. They have new chassis and assassinations but function the exact same way as their original counterparts.
The first DLC drop will be on November 30, 2016 and it’s called Angel City’s Most Wanted. We’ll be going into more detail and showing it off closer to launch but here’s a high level look at the free content you’ll be getting:

So glad the game turned out the way it did after that technical test shyt. Having too much fun with it. You can't tell me Ronin isn't the funnest Titan to use. In Titanfall 1, I had more fun on foot but Ronin in this game is where its at.

You might not be using the Titans abilities to their full potential. For example, Ronin's phase dash can not only used to get out trouble but it's a good idea to use it to get behind slower titans and while reloading. I didn't even know Scorch's flame shield can be used to burn Titans until I ran up on one and seen my health drain away
