Cool. We gotta run sometime. Been busy the past few days so I haven't got any decent playtime. But then I'm on vacation the end of the week so

BF is the problem.

It sucks that people flock to the game with the huge marketing budget. Back in the old days if a game was genuinely good people would flock to that. I bet half the people who bought battlefield don't even like that shyt.

Why didn't they wait to release this

They tried to undercut COD thinking TF2 is futuristic, maybe people will buy this instead. That's the only scenario that makes sense to me.

I feel like if they do some free weekends, they'll get more players for sure. The game is piff but the timing is insane.

That's actually a very good idea. I think Microsoft did something similar for Halo and the player count went up 500% or some shyt

That's the only way breh. The game is piff, the only problem I see with it (played 28 hours on MP, beat the campaign) is getting people to actually buy the shyt.

That new CoD has gotten an overwhelmingly negative response. I think most people will skip it. (or only play it for a week before moving onto something else)

Cliffy B and the dream team at Epic aren't working on Gears of War anymore so I'm skeptical of the new game.

And you come to this conclusion because? It's almost as if you think battlefield is a bad franchise? It has a large following for a reason.

Battlefield 1 is getting almost universal acclaim right now. Titanfall is also getting great reviews, but is going to get lost in the mix of all the AAA shooters out at the moment.

I've played shooters all my life, going way back to quake 1 and unreal tournament. Not once did I worry about the multiplayer population as long as I could find a match. People complaining about the population being small is weird to me.

The only complaint I have is that there isn't a server browser. But blame that on it being a console port
