Research and organization are paramount.

One thing I learned in organizing is most groups love to talk talk talk and plan. But rarely move that talking into action because people just want to be the "smartest" nikka in the room. I would say the most important thing in an organization is a leadership team that is well rounded and not afraid to delegate. Plans without delegation are pointless. And I've been in groups with both good teams and bad teams.

Edit: And I'm not a fan of social media for organizing. It doesn't accomplish much. For marketing, maybe. Depends on how it is used.
