:patrice: I’m surprised to see so much positive reviews in here

I won’t shyt on it tho because I appreciate she’s trying…

Maybe I just need to give it another try

It’s top 5, but I think it’s such a hit because previously Toni never really delved deep into character work (at least while she’s been stateside). She’s always been the pretty blonde with the fat ass who could wrestle and had the odd 1980s rockstar aesthetic.

Seeing that she can pull something like this off and do it well is eye opening.

Toni Storm has some real acting chops:ehh:

The WWE really dropped the ball on her. She’s only 27 which is still young for the business. She’s doing her best work right now in AEW.
She was feuding with Charlotte who was champion at the time, and she was on primetime broadcast television on FOX when she asked for her release. People in here are saying it like she wasn't getting tv time.

And this shoe-throwing shyt is her first actual character in wrestling. There wasn't anything to her for WWE to drop at the time. :mjlol:

it's amusing in 30 second backstage interviews but not sure how it translates to something that draws money. People don't buy tickets to watch amusing backstage promos

Toni Storm hasn't caught a break since she left Japan. She gets signed by WWE which you'd think ok they'll notice what they have with her, they did pretty well with NXT call ups at least for the women's division for a while... but then nothing. They do nothing with her for weeks. Then she gets thrown in a one sided feud with Charlotte and people are like "oh she should be happy, she's having matches with Charlotte..." How does that work out for everyone? It was obvious Charlotte wasn't ever gonna put her over and management was never going to suggest it.

So then she goes to AEW and she's saddled with more wack ass story lines and then a stable with fukking Paige....

I like this new gimmick. Toni Storm has some personality, she has a good look and she's talented in the ring. Hopefully this is finally her chance to breakout.
