He fukked up by not enrolling early. Garvin has a 6month jump on him and it showed. DJ basically played Special teams and blowouts.

If you want to make an impact as a freshman get here in January, get your playbook, and get into the weight room. I think that incoming DE Rousseau is going to have an impact like Joe Jackson and Garvin had as freshman the last two years because of this. He's lanky but breh looks like a NATURAL pass rusher to me.

None, given how highly regarded he was out of HS. But with Silvera and possibly Goldwire coming in as DT's along with Gerald Willis rejoining the team, Carson as a hybrid, and Rousseau and potentially Chatfield coming in as DE's, his spot in the 2-deep isn't a stone cold lock even if Big Mac and Guitar Hero leave. Comp between the dudes coming in and the returning players is going to be crazy.
yeah, nah. he isn't shook because of the guys coming in. he's upset at his perceived lack of PT. especially compared to Garvin. he needs to realize he's a true freshman, and just keep working.

It's one in the same family. If he's upset at his lack of time now, the buffet of riches coming to the line next year makes it worse, not better. It's not even like he or the staff can look at the roster, look at the class, and be like "you're definitely up next year
