Defense was on the field way too much. Punter was awful. Offense just couldn't get the running game going at all...although that's kind of been an issue all season, and Diaz way too cute with the stunts.

I know that there's hope that beating Clemson next week will still put us in the playoffs but if I can look long term, it's getting really frustrating that this team isn't blowing out teams they should easily blow out.
I'm really unsure what the offense looks like next season. This team has the offensive tools to put up 40 every week. How does Richt get more out of this talent, brehs? :lupe:

hes pretty handcuffed if Malik is gonna be that bad. he gave him his security blanket plays, the bubbles to Herndon and Berrios, the quick outs to Ahmonn, he only completed a handful

i dont think he'll play like that again, but the run game has to be better. outside of Homer breaking big ones its been bad lately. need to get more on 1st down to make the other 2 downs easier

chickens finally came home to roost yesterday. extremely fortunate to have been undefeated for most the season. a competent qb and we're still undefeated and most of the games would have been blowouts.

the offensive line also. they are soft. no other way to put it.

if Perry, Weldon, or Williams(if he comes) don't win the qb job in the spring, that will be telling.

Also wondering how garbage Allison is if he was so far behind he decided to transfer instead of compete through the summer :jbhmm:

I remember it got something to do with offense style. He was a pro-style pocket passer in which Richt was running a spreed RPO offense
Right, but the offense is still ultimately a passing offense. And he went to WVU, which, if you really look at the offenses, Dana's Air Raid and what Richt is trying to accomplish here isn't all that different. The tempo, the inside zone, the bubble and tunnel screens, the vertical shots. I don't think it's insane to say what Richt want(ed) out of this offense would look a lot like what Dana runs. Of course we want mobility, but basically every college QB has to be able to move.

Basically, what I'm saying is after seeing this offense in practice the Allison family's reason for going elsewhere seem like bullshyt :yeshrug:
