rosier makes a ton of suspect throws. but he does shyt with his legs we haven't seen out of a miami QB in a long time, maybe ever
Ever. We never had a QB like Rozier. He reminds me of UNC's QB Williams. Where they aren't talented throwers but they get the job done. I think Williams had better legs but Rozier is a better passer.

was the Jaquan pick 6 the Ed Reed vs. BC in 01? :lupe:

im not comparing the teams at all, but that was as big of a swing play for a season that a DB can make. that was everything, sometimes you just need the superstars to do some superstar shyt. Mac and JJ did that
ed's pick 6 was bigger just because of the stakes...BC was driving and inside the 10, it was the final drive of the game, sealed the W on the road in hostile environment. quan's came much earlier in the game but it completely swung momentum in our favor, never looked back.

thats actually a great comparison. Williams never fully developed as a pocket guy, but he got better over time and he was a tough runner

Big time defensive stand in that second half. Defense stiffened up where it counted, and Jaquan came thru with that pick 6.

When the time arises, they stand tall. Proud of these guys. Virginia kept us around, had a few chances to put us away, but didn't.

Valiant effort from the guys. Offense stepped up where needed. Rosier is gutsy. Not the best, but the best for us. I just remember Kaaya, who I respected, but know he couldn't pull games like this off. Roiser has been a gem this season. Gritty, instinctive, and all heart. Hope the guys like Kosi and Sheriffs looking and taking notes...

I don't expect us to come out as flat as today for Pitt. Hopefully we can jump on them early and take their will away so we can get back and prepare for Clempson...

I always call guys like this football players. In practice, you don't think much of them but in the game, their impact shows. Of course this is moot for the NFL but for college, this matters. This is why Williams always was starting over Trubisky even though Tru is a franchise QB talent right now in the NFL and Williams doesn't play QB on the pro level.

I have heard some mention Russell Wilson but at NC State, he was just a much better passer than Rozier. The only similarities is the legs. At Wisconsin, Wilson was one of the best passers in college football history. There is no comparison to be made to Wilson.

Lol at calliing trubisky a franchise talent in the NFL. In the few games he started what exactly has he done that deserves this label besides being a high draft pick :dwillhuh:

richt and his short yardage play calling is maddening. they haven't converted a 3rd/rth and short all season with a run. and yet he keeps calling them. they need to run some play action from under center and roll malik out with the option to run or hit the tight end.

manny, for some reason decided to go back to the staying in base defense alot. and ended up giving up a millon yards and points in the 1st half.

malik is so bad. jesus. if we had a good qb, none of our games would have been close this year. he misses the easiest throws.

special teams have been below average this year and last year. Hartley needs to be replaced. Badgley is oevrrated. Thomas and Deejay aren't good back there on kick off returns. berrios fair catches too many punts.

Zach mccloud....wow....this guy as regressed something serious. team might be better with him off the field at this point. missed tackles, bad angles, looking lost in passing situations. just really bad.

the secondary was pretty bad in the 1st half

but like all year, they are a 2nd half team. out scored them 30-7 in the 2nd half.

Talent ain't the same as player. He was drafted in the top 3 and he played well. That's what a franchise talent does in the NFL. I didn't say player or superstar talent.
