time to admit... the PS4 is a console of dissapointment

The Order is the only game on PS4 that doesn't look like a pretty PS3 game (Infamous second son aside) so I'm satisfied, even if its a tech demo


PS4 now has something that looks as good as XB1's Ryse

Look at it from an unbiased perspective.

X1 started off pretty strong and up until now their exclusives are incredibly well recieved by critics.

Forza 5 is hot
Dead Rising 3 is hot
Sunset Overdrive is hot
Horizon 2 is hot
Killer Instinct is hot
D4 is hot.
Halo: MCC is fukking buggy garbage that shouldn't be touched.

...you know out of all of that, 6/7 games turning out to be not ass is pretty good for the Xbone.

Killer Instinct has been getting post launch support for about a year and a lot of it's major issues have been fixed.

Reviewers don't know how to review a fighting game to save their life. they don't practice the character. They don't learn the matchups. They don't go in depth with the mechanics. They play the tutorial and judge the review from off of that and the arcade mode. I would body any fukking reviewer in any fighting game, 5-0 free.

I think Driveclub is ass because I don't like how it plays. I don't like the driving mechanics.

Well that's your opinion. I like how the driving mechanics are. As a matter of fact, how long did you play it? What car did you drive?? Driveclub is not the type of game where you just run a race or two with a random car and make a whole judgement of it.


The same way you said reviewers don't know how to practice a character or learn the matchups, I can say you didn't learn how to control a specific car(character) or learn the matchups(Learn tracks, turns etc.)

I'm not saying you SHOULD like DC but you can't call one game ass and then say "Well I like (just as bad scored game)" because reasons. It don't work like that.

I'm a huge fan of MotorStorm so I don't have anything against Evolution, but Driveclub simply wasn't for me. I don't like sim racers and while Driveclub is far and away from that, it still has those sim elements to how the vehicles handle tghat really irk me in racing games. It's why I don't say or speak on Gran Turisimo.

So you played it for a limited amount of time.. cool.
I ask because I often see people just say "I didn't like it" or "It's ass" and they either 1.)Never played it or 2.)Played it for less than 30 minutes total hands on time.

been waiting for next gen to pop off myself
was hoping to get a ps4 and maybe a nintendo but at this rate I might as well wait for next gen to drop all that cash,I'll give it another year.

Breh, after playing BF4 on the PS3 then making the leap to the PS4 version (did the digital upgrade to next gen for 10 bucks), I can't go back.

There's 3 games left I need to finish on my ps3 backlog (God of War Ascension, Batman Arkham Origins, Far Cry 3). After that, I'll probably retire one of my ps3s.

I specifically avoided playing gtav and tlou on ps4 for this reason
I don't expect any more new games for ps3 if any multiplatforms come out you already know they're gonna make last gen extra sloppy

I generally feel like fighting games, platformers and driving games - basically the traditional old school genres - get reviewed worse than other genres for whatever reason.

Those first 3 are exclusives, and I feel ya. But just like how you love Crimson Dragon, that game is sitting at a 55 on metacritic. Meach loved Ryse and it's at a 60 on it. This just proves my point that you gotta know the types of games you like and go with that instead of taking these reviewers opinions as gospel.

They are no different than any of us in the fact that they are glorified fanboys and NOT true journalists, especially nowadays. Their employers don't want to ruin the money train either.
