Their older roster used to have real depth, consistency, reliability,!and continuity. Even after they got KD, all they had to do was get rid of Ayton and they probably would have been, at least, the same as years before with Jock. The ownership/GM Lebron’d themselves by trading their future, their depth, flexibility, and reliability for a “big 3”.

You’d think these teams would have learned that shyt don’t work anymore after the Bucks won it all with an extremely solid team + a really dominant versatile player (their GM needs to be drawn and quartered over their moves to get Dame and coaching changes lol).

The Suns gutted themselves, somehow thinking shock and awe still works like it’s the 2010’s lol. These Deep, solid teams aren’t scared of that shyt and have learned that they can outwork star power and produce the same. The clippers are dying by the same disease and their team is more flexible than the Suns. One injury can kneecap a season, solid teams adapting to keep 1/3 or 2/3 dominant players out of a game can end a playoff run. The “super team”, “big 3”, “loading up”, whatever you want to call it, is just about dead.
